Beta glucan is a complex carbohydrate glucose molecules (polysaccharides) which are joined by beta (ß) bonds linked carbons (1-3/1-6) to other glucose molecules. The ability for ß-glucan to bind to the macrophage is key trigger to enhance the immune system.

In the nature there are many sources for ß-glucans (mushrooms, grains, yeast, etc.), but ABrazil believes that important factors to choose mushroom is not just due to the fact that it is more abundant or the best form of  ß-glucans.
